Cheesy Hash Browns
Prep Time: 15 minutes ~~ Bake Time: 1 hour ~~ Oven temp: 375 degrees F
Ingredients:
- 1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes, diced or shredded
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
- 1 cup chopped fine onion
- 1 cream of chicken soup
- 8 ounces shredded Colby or Cheddar cheese
- 5 1/3 tablespoons butter (not margarine), melted
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons crushed corn flakes
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Mix hash brown potatoes, sour cream, onion, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheese, and melted butter in a bowl; season to taste with salt and pepper. Spoon mixture evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and top with corn flake crumbs.
- Bake in the preheated oven about 1 hour until the casserole is bubbling..
